Carson Forestry provides operational planning and supervision services to the Forest, Oil and Gas, Sand and Gravel, and Utility industries in Alberta. In order to meet increasing client demands, Carson Forestry is seeking a Health and Safety Coordinator to work as part of our project management team.

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Working knowledge of the regulatory requirements within the province of Alberta.
• Experience working in forest operations or industrial construction.
• Experience in all phases of health and safety management including; safety plan development, hazard assessments, site inspections and observations, preparing reports, and promoting a safe work environment.
• Ability to work out doors in all weather conditions.
• Willingness to travel.
• Excellent oral and written communications. You will be expected to represent client interests with government, and contractor personnel.

The successful candidate is expected to be able to manage relations with a diverse group of people while ensuring overall project safety targets are met.
